Meaning of Wanderlust

When we bought her, she came with the name Wonderlust. According to wikipedia wonderlust means: Wanderlust is a strong desire for or impulse to wander or travel and explore the world.

Seems pretty fitting that someone would call their sail boat by this name. And we will keep her with that name as we think it is very fitting.

Dinghy

We decided that since we will be moored that we will need a dinghy. Conversations with the Harbor Master has us being assigned to either Pope Island or Gifford St. mooring areas. So we still don't know where we will call home for our Wanderlust yet, but we are told we do have a spot.

Since our seafarer 22 is named Wanderlust, our 11 y/o daughter thinks we should name our dinghy Wander Behind, so her name is set. Now to get a motor and oars for her

Our Journey starts

Ok, I'm not sure what got into my husband. He decided to buy a sail boat. Does he know how to sail? Nope. So now we own a 22 ft seafarer that we don't know how to sail. Good thing it is still winter and HE can research and try to learn what he is doing before we launch in May.


   

As you can see, its not too bad but needs lots of cleaning and we still have to figure out how to sail this thing.
